Dr. Nauroz Syed recently joined the team at Woodholme Gastroenterology. Her practice encompasses the comprehensive management of gastrointestinal diseases with a subspecialty interest in pancreaticobiliary diseases. She performs general and interventional endoscopic procedures.

One aspect of the practice she likes to emphasize is a proficiency in endoscopic ultrasound (EUS). She is excited to bring access to EUS to the community in Carroll County, for varied applications including the diagnosis and staging of gastrointestinal malignancies, evaluation of pancreatitis, and screening for pancreatic cancer.

She is currently accepting new patients and would greatly appreciate referrals for individuals in need of routine and specialized GI services.
